Oral manifestation of secondary syphilis


A 34-year-old man presenting with (A) a red and white plaque located in the soft palate as an oral manifestation of secondary syphilis. (B) Reddish macules were observed on his palms.


A 58-year-old woman presenting with bilateral, painful whitish plaques affecting the lateral border of the tongue (A, B), which represented mucous patches of secondary syphilis.
